Service Description
This small group lesson is an introduction to Skijoring/Kicksledding/Dogsledding with your own dog. Learn about different types of gear, how to get started, try some of the gear and get a better understanding on what each activity entails. -There will be gear available, however if you already have your own please bring it! -Skiers must bring their own cross country gear (skis, boots & poles) and have basic skiing knowledge. -We will not use bikes for this lesson but to those interested we will share more information about it. -Short trail ride to test out gear&equipment and establish the fundamentals. -All types of dogs welcomed Duration of the lesson: 1.5-2hrs Cost: $125 (includes gear) 1 dog per participant, if you have more than one dog please book an individual lesson. 1 person / dog. We welcome young participants (12+ years old), with their parents consent. Every participant is responsible for their own dog and must keep them leashed at all times. Location: Yellowknife, NT (exact location will be shared a few days prior to the lesson once trail conditions are known.)
Cancellation Policy
-This fee is non refundable, however if Northbound Huskies has to cancel at any time, we offer to reschedule or issue a full refund. -If you need to reschedule or won't be able to attend please email us at info@northboundhuskies.com. While we try to do our best, we cannot guarantee availability. -We reserve the right to prohibit anyone from participating in a lesson if they have been consuming alcohol or cannabis prior or/and during the lesson. No refunds will be issued. -We do NOT provide outdoor gear. Please dress for the weather, in layers, as we will outside the entire lesson. -We do not tolerate disrespectful behaviour -Dogs have to be leashed at all times, and only interact with other dogs with the permission of their owner. -This session will get postponed if the group numbers are too low. -Aggressive behaviour towards other dogs and participants will not be tolerated.
